Policies and Procedures
Using our pet sitting and dog walking services is as simple as calling 812-272-2726, or completing our online consultation request form. Once started, the process will go something like this:
Initial Conversation
During our initial conversation, we will request some preliminary information about your pets (names, ages, medications, etc). Then we will ask if you require mid-day dog walking, vacation pet sitting, or both.
Once we have this information, we will schedule a free in-home consultation.
Free In-Home Consultation
The initial consultation is specifically designed to give you and your pets an opportunity to meet us. This is also a perfect opportunity to review your pet’s daily routines with us.
We will also provide our initial paperwork, which can be left for us to pick up during our first visit.
While you are away.
We will keep you updated on the status of your home and pets. The initial paperwork will ask if you want updates, how often you prefer them, and by what method you would like to be contacted (email or phone).
Returning Home
Upon returning home, we request that you give us a call (or email) to confirm that you’ve returned home safely. If we do not hear from you, we will likely begin calling the next day just to make certain everything is alright. If we don’t hear from you within 2 days, we may pop-in to make sure your pets are okay. There is no cost associated with this visit, we just want to make sure your pets are OK.
Scheduling Future Visits
Now that you are an established client, you can simply call or email to schedule future visits. There is no paperwork or consultations required for current clients.
We typically ask that you leave a copy of your keys on file with us (keys are stored with no identifying information, in a locked safe). But, we are also happy to pick them up and drop them off at no additional cost.
Payment Overview:
We offer multiple payment methods for your convenience. You can pay via our online payment system, Check / Money Order, and Cash. Payments are always due at or before the time of service.
